ROCK is Looking for a New Home

ROCK has been partnered with our amazing landlords at West 6th Brewing for nearly 10 years now. We moved into our warehouse space in January of 2012, months before the Brewery itself opened for business. Over the last 10 years, we’ve loved being part of The Bread Box family.

Unfortunately, due to the aluminum can supplier, Ball Corporation, changing the minimum number of cans that craft brewers may order, and storage space for those cans being at a premium, the space we’ve called home for nearly 10 years is needed for other things. We hold no ill will towards our wonderful friends at West 6th, and we look forward to partnering with them in other ways in the future!

Meanwhile, we step into the next decade of Roller Derby of Central Kentucky looking for a new home! We’re looking for a large, flat, open space where we can lay a track! Ideally, we’d have a space 108’x75’, with no support poles and access to a bathroom. If we’re dreaming big, we’d even have heat and AC, but we can definitely get by without climate control! We have some limited flexibility in the size of the space that we need, and can even work with some support poles if the positioning is right.

While we’d love to have 24/7 access to the space, we typically only practice on evenings and weekends, so we’re happy to share a space with another organization, whether that’s someone sharing the actual physical space that we have, or subleasing a section of a space where the remainder is occupied by another company.

We’re a small 501c3 non-profit, so our budget is limited, but we’d love to have a conversation with anyone who has a space that might work for our needs!
